0
Antelopes are emblematic ruminants, very common in the African savannah and bush. South Africa is home to 29 different species including 2 endemic ones. Antelopes live in plains, savannahs, forests or deserts depending on the species. Their slender silhouette allows them exceptional agility. Some can reach a speed of more than 68.3miles/h (110km/h) and leap more than 157.4 inches (4m) high. Antelopes are animals with horns (bovines). Unlike those with woods, they keep their horns all their lives.
