The exact date of construction of the Notre-Dame chapel, located at the exit of the village of Saint-Jeannet in the Alpes-Maritimes department, is unknown. According to the historian Malaussène, it may have been built at the end of the 16th century to thank the Virgin after the discovery of the Font-Neuve spring in 1570. In any case, the chapel is prior to the 17th century, in the course of which it is mentioned during pastoral visits.
