An old entrepreunarial family tradition

The entrepreneurial adventure of the Ferrari family, the owner of the Château Malherbe estate in Bormes-les-Mimosas, dates back to four generations and goes far beyond wine production. It started with Louis Ferrari, who launched a textile activity in Isère oriented towards technical niches such as the first parachute fabrics. He was the one who acquired the Malherbe estate in 1935. At the start of the 1970s, his grandson Serge went into flexible and innovative composite materials by selling all family goods with the exception of the vineyards of Château Malherbe. Today, the two companies managed by Sébastien Ferrari, Louis' great-grandson and Serge's son, are flourishing.
