Bagaud Island is one of the smallest of Hyères Archipelago in the Var department. It covers an area of 146 acres (59 ha), 142.5 acres (57.68 ha) of which have been protected since 2008. The island of Bagaud extends 0.7 mi (1.13 km) west of the island of Port-Cros and 4.67 mi (7.52 km) from Cap Bénat on the metropolitan coast. It is attached to the municipality of Hyères, east of Toulon.
