An insect or a sailboat?

When you walk around the Louis Vuitton Foundation, you notice that its general appearance changes depending on the angle of view. Viewed from the side, it looks like a large insect with folded wings, while from the front, the building becomes a sailboat with sails inflated by the wind. The architect Frank Gehry wanted to evoke a motionless movement, a frozen, majestic flight. The twelve laminated glass sails are all articulated differently. They are connected to the main building by a complex framework made of larch, carbon steel, and stainless steel. An architectural feat that is part of the Harvard University architecture curriculum.
