An extreme and free sports practice

The term freeride originally refers to the practice of a sport, whether skiing, snowmobiling, or mountain biking, outside of any formal framework in large, unspoiled natural spaces. This practice differs from freestyle, with which it is often confused, which involves performing acrobatic tricks. On skis or snowboards, freeriders set off on snowy slopes in the middle of the mountains. Such sporting discipline requires intense physical effort and continual mental concentration.
