The laureate of the 2014 Young Researcher Award of the city of Clermont-Ferrand, Fanny Sorbadere is the author of a thesis on The Genesis of Subduction Zone Volcanism. She carried out her research in the Magmas et volcans (Magmas and volcanoes) laboratory (LMV), a renowned joint research unit of the Clermont Auvergne University (UCA). Fanny Sorbadere worked in association with the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), the Institute of Research for Development (IRD), and the Jean Monnet University of Saint-Etienne (UJM).
