In the heart of Côte Vermeille (Vermillion Coast), the seaside resort of Banyuls-sur-Mer extends at the foot of a renowned terraced vineyard. The last stop on the coast before Spain, the Mediterranean city is also the homeland of Aristide Maillol, a famous French sculptor.
