The Île-de-France region and the Domaine de Villarceaux endeavor to reach first place as an eco-managed site in Europe. Actions have already been implemented such as the elimination of all types of chemical fertilizers and the production of vegetable humus with the addition of animal manure from guaranteed organic farms. Humus is produced from the waste generated from grass clippings and hedge trimmings.
