Gérard Filippi, who defines himself as an adventurous entomologist bubbling with ideas, worked as an expert with the team of The Explorers in July 2020 on the making of a documentary on the cicadas of the Southern region. They ventured into the Sainte-Victoire massif in search of the cicadas Cicadatra atra, Cicada orni, Tettiguetta pygmea, or Lyristes plebejus, which his great experience allowed to spot, approach, and identify.
