Measuring 4.9 to 5.4 ft (1.50 to 1.65 m) for a weight varying between 1,433 and 1,763 lbs (650 and 800 kg), the Comtois horse is the draft horse par excellence to which the oriental stallions have brought the distinction which characterizes the breed.
