Built at the top of an ocher cliff in perfect chromatic harmony with its stones, roofs, and facades, the village of Roussillon is listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Located in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park in the Vaucluse department, it is the second most visited village in the Luberon after Gordes. Its visitors can discover the stepped streets of the old town and its vaulted passages, the houses of the 17th and 18th centuries, the 11th-century Romanesque church of Saint-Michel, the belfry of the clock tower and its campanile, as well as the remains of Roussillon's ramparts and of the 10th-century castle.
