It shows its 82 ft (25 m) from afar in Verzenay. A lighthouse worthy of Brittany stands amid a sea of vines. It was built in 1909 to promote the champagne wines of Joseph Goulet, whose name was erased during the renovation of 1999. The lighthouse formerly hosted celebrations in its tavern and its restaurant until World War I. Today, an ecomuseum dedicated to the vine adjoins it. It allows discovering the characteristics and specificities of the Champagne terroirs and the various cycles of work in the vineyard.
