The second permanent exhibition of the Cité du Train, the famous Quays of history, invites you to discover the history of French railways from 1844 to the present day. The most legendary and extraordinary locomotives and wagons can be seen along the quays. The history of rail merges with that of France. Through the material and images presented at the Cité du train in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), it is the evolution of French society that we can read in the background. If you are passionate about railway mechanics, you can even go down into the pit.
