Frank Gehry wished to express with the architecture of the Vuitton Foundation, the lightness of glass with the surrounding nature and the taste for walks of Parisians. He had a curved glass made to equip the 3600 panels of the 12 sails of the Foundation. A special oven even had to be created by Saint Gobain to manufacture them and nearly 1,000 workers were working on the site.
