Tawny Eagle: a close conjugal bond
Monogamous raptors, tawny eagles establish marital links for life. Before mating, the male performs a waving flight and the two partners fly together in circular flights above the nesting site. The male then dives and swoops while the female turns around him and presents her talons for him to catch. Mating always occurs near or in the nest.
