The term Big Five is used to designate the five African animals, and especially in Southern Africa, the most feared, the most respected and that were considered as the most dangerous to hunt on foot. Among them, the Cape buffalo which is probably the most dangerous. Unpredictable, powerful and fast, it tends to charge without warning and with determination if it feels threatened.
