Aconitum napellus, el acónito común, anapelo azul o matalobos de flor azul, es una especie perteneciente a la familia Ranunculaceae. Se trata de una planta muy venenosa que puede ser letal. Se encuentra desde Europa - aunque no en la zona mediterránea - a los Himalayas en alturas no superiores a los 2000 metros. Se encuentra en zonas próximas a lagos y ríos, y zonas umbrías.
Hay que tener mucho cuidado con la manipulación de esta planta y de su flor. Una cantidad de 2 miligramos de un alcaloide que contiene llamada aconitinia puede ser mortal para el ser humano. En Asía que se la considera erróneamente benefactora para la salud es frecuente que ocasiones la muerte de quien la manipula.
