A zero waste plant

Flax contributes to sustainable agriculture since its cultivation requires little nitrogen and therefore does not cause pollution by nitrates. Not dependant on irrigation, flax is also a zero waste plant, fully recyclable. As the plant is completely biodegradable, the products derived from flax will therefore be biodegradable in turn. Unlike cotton, which loses hold and quality, linen is also a particularly resistant and durable fiber that gains suppleness over time. Known by men since the Neolithic period, flax is today considered the green gold of Normandy.
