Paul Bergamo has been director of the Fonderie Cornille-Havard in Villedieu-les-Poëles (Manche) since 2006. He often travels to meet Christian communities around the world in order to enrich his knowledge. He is aware that each bell his team crafts will ring for centuries. The disaster at Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, for which he had nine bells made in 2013, affected him a lot, although they did not suffer any damage in 2019.
