Occupied by a wooded park, the Rayol estate extends over the southern slopes of the Massif des Maures which descend to the sea in the Var department. It is crossed by a torrent that leads to a small beach delimited by two promontories and located in the Anse du Figuier. The estate consists in several built elements (Hôtel de la Mer from 1910, Villa Rayolet from 1925, fisherman's house, shed, etc.) linked together by a network of paths which makes their signage necessary.
