The bay of Mont-Saint-Michel is home to the largest expanse of salt meadows and polders in France. The diversity of the natural environments allows for the blossoming and establishment of numerous plant and animal varieties. A third of the Armorica flora is established among mudflats, freshwater and saltwater marshes, bocage, dunes, rocky coasts, deep waters, polders, and rivers. The early morning light creates amazing reflections as nature slowly wakes up.
