Pierrefeu-du-Var is a locality bordering those of Puget-Ville, Cuers, La Crau, Hyères, and La Londe-les-Maures in the Var department. Although located at the gateway to the hills of the Massif des Maures, the town is not particularly isolated. Crossed by five departmental roads and bordered by a highway to the north, Pierrefeu-du-Var is also served by the Cuers-Pierrefeu station and is only eighteen miles (29 km) from Toulon, the administrative center of the department.
