Often submerged or folded up, the feet of the greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus) are hard to spot. They consist of four fingers, three of which are linked together by a webbed membrane that allows the bird to swim and pack the mud in order to feed and build its nest. The flamingo is, actually, the only bird to combine long wader's legs and web-footed birds' feet.
