Nothing is wasted at Maison Vilac in Moirans-en-Montagne in the Jura department. Each machine is equipped with a woodchip extractor to guarantee a healthy environment for the workers. The recovered chips will be used to heat the premises in winter in the spirit of a virtuous ecological circle. The wood used for the toys (beech, pine, boxwood) comes from local forests managed in a sustainable way. The Maison Vilac obtained the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label in 2007 as recognition for the quality of its traditional craft.
