A village of circulade type

0
Gruissan is a French town populated by a little more than 5,000 inhabitants on the eastern side of the Aude department. It belongs to the Narbonnais, an area exposed to a Mediterranean climate, and extends between the ponds of Gruissan and Grazel. Gruissan consists of several circular streets surrounding the limestone rock that serves as the base of the medieval Barbarossa tower. The village, therefore, bears the name of a circulade. Gruissan benefits from several extensions such as Gruissan-plage, its seaside resort, and the fishing village of the pond of Ayrolles.
