Nestled between sea and land in the Caux region, Vattetot-sur-Mer is a typical Norman village extending over 1,253 acres (507 ha). The municipality, surrounded by wooded valleys and imposing cliffs, has 340 inhabitants and is 21.75 miles (35 km) from Le Havre. The village of Vattetot-sur-Mer includes several hamlets, including La Haye d'Etigues, Brandeville, and Le bout de Vattetot, and its limits were set in 1835.
