The seafront of Antibes opens onto the Baie des Anges to the east and extends to Cap d'Antibes, a Natura 2000 listed site, to the north. Over 14.2 miles (23 km), the town's coast offers several sandy beaches with Garoupe, Gravette, nestled at the foot of the ramparts, La Salis, and Le Ponteil. Antibes also has a long pebble beach that stretches from Fort Carré to Villeneuve-Loubet. The seaside resort of Juan-les-Pins, located opposite the Lérins Islands, is administratively attached to Antibes.
