More than fifty years after its construction, the Marina-Baie des Anges remains a unique urban piece. This large-scale real-estate complex was established in Villeneuve-Loubet, between Antibes and Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the context of the boom in summer tourism and the regional planning policy of the 1960s. This gigantic building in tiers evoking a squadron of sailboats or immense white waves still forms a visual seaside barrier that defies the standards of coastal regulations and continues to arouse controversy.
