The church of Saint-Jacques-et-Saint-Philippe (St. James and St. Philip) in Lentilles is built in the half-timbered style of the houses in the north of the Aube department. Built in the 16th century, it was restored in the 1970s. The church consists of a four-bay nave flanked by aisles. The five-sided choir features oculi with 16th-century stained glass windows. The building is surrounded by a small cemetery, as was the tradition. More than its stained glass windows, the church of Lentilles attracts by the rustic aspect of its architecture and the materials used (wood, slate and cob) which give it originality, simplicity, and charm.
