Place des Prêcheurs in Aix-en-Provence has been the subject of a colossal two-and-a-half-year renovation project that ended in the summer of 2019. Associated with Place de Verdun, it now forms the largest square in the city in the heart of its count's district. Cleared of its parking spaces and available for the Provençal markets typical of Aix, this ensemble highlights the local architectural heritage and exhibits the archaeological remains discovered during the works.
