In the Cusuco cloud forest, Honduras, some endemic frogs are found in epiphyte plants hanged from trees, while others inhabit rivers. They live sheltered from the world but are threatened by a fungus that attacks their very fragile skin. These amphibians play a key role in the protection of drinking water and help control the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. To help them survive this fungus, researchers study them carefully.
