Alain Moatti's project for Les Franciscaines cultural space in Deauville was to create a traveled architecture where the visitor makes his way to knowledge through movement. The architecture he imagined recreates links between visitors, makes them active, and allows them to experience a sharing in a cultural place that mixes knowledge and experiences. In this hyper-place, open spaces rub shoulders with more intimate closed areas, and the multiple and changing spots of natural light reinforce the visitor's desire to stay.
