The barn of La Grange de la Haute Vallée is the architectural highlight of the visit to the farm, which also focuses on discovering the herd and cheese making. Located at an altitude of 2,953 ft (900 m) in imposing stone buildings, it impresses with its dimensions and its inverted boat hull frame that distinguish it from the surrounding farms. Converted into a hayloft and stable, the barn has retained a traditional appearance. It contrasts with the milking parlor and cheese dairy, which have been fitted with modern facilities and equipment to meet the demands of dairy production and processing.
