In the footsteps of Houlgate, Cabourg has recently set up a circuit of its Belle Epoque villas that allows discovering, map in hand, around thirty villas of the city dear to Marcel Proust, including the villa Marcel (photo). This circuit does not form a loop but starts from the town center and ends at the Bon Abri villa. Renamed Villa du Temps Retrouvé (Villa of Recovered Times), it houses a museum dedicated to the Belle Epoque and Marcel Proust. The free map of the circuit is available at the tourist office of Cabourg.
