Robert Marichy's turning workshop is located in Arinthod (Jura) in the northern part of a farm built in the 19th century, before 1830. The premises were acquired and fitted out by Raymond Marichy, a wood turner, in 1932 i.e approximately a century after the construction of the farm. The workshop has not undergone any modifications since that date. It has now been protected as a Historic Monument since 2015.
