A thorough restoration of the vineyard

Romain Ott arrived at Château Léoube in 2002 as production manager and immediately endeavored in the restoration and organic orientation of the estate's 173 acres (70 ha) of vines. The vineyard was first completely replanted, and the plots reconfigured to avoid erosion. It was only five years later, in 2008, that the first bottles of Château Léoube cuvées were released. They give prominence to the grape varieties that stand out for their stability over time and ensure a high level of quality in each vintage. The current annual production of Château Léoube is around 300,000 bottles.
