A thickness depending on the use

The thickness of a wetsuit depends on its use. This 0.19 to 0.27 in (5 to 7 mm) thick Beuchat wetsuit allows diving comfortably in waters ranging from 62.6 to 78.8°F (17 to 26°C) like those of the Calanques National Park in summer. In search of an even warmer garment, a semi-waterproof suit limiting water circulation to almost zero would be appropriate. Finally, the thinner suits in flexible neoprene allow practicing varied water activities in temperate to hot water.
