A symbolic and ancient flower
1
0
The cultivation of poppy has long been known to man, as evidenced by remains from the Neolithic period. In the language of flowers, the white poppy symbolizes the morning and the colorful poppy symbolizes the evening. It can be white, pink, or red, and its fruits contain seeds used in food to decorate bread and pastries (Alsace, eastern countries). In addition to calcium and vitamin B1, they also contain lecithin, protein, and more than 50% carnation oil, a fatty oil.
