The Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal Protection Agency) has been carrying out surveillance and protection actions for Anse du Brick since 1990. The Syndicat Mixte des Espaces Littoraux (SyMEL) manages the land acquired. The Brûlé moor is maintained by a herd of 30 goats and four Exmoor ponies. The Natura 2000 ecological network has included Anse du Brick in the Caps and hinterland marshes from Barfleur to Cap Lévi ecological zone of European interest.
