The church of Notre-Dame de Sénanque abbey in the Vaucluse department is currently undergoing a major restoration program launched in January 2019. The deterioration of the central vault of its nave has led to the establishment of five buttresses on the eastern aisle to counter the thrusts of the weakened vault. The work includes repairs to the underpinning with the addition of micropiles in the foundation, the restoration of the interior and exterior facings, the repair of a freestone staircase leading to the monks' old dormitory as well as the revision of the slate roof.
