The Malrif lakes form a set of three glacial lakes located a few hundred meters from each other in the territory of the municipality of Aiguilles (Hautes-Alpes) in the Queyras massif. The largest of them, Lake Grand Laus, is also the lowest with an altitude of 8,461 ft (2,579 m). It is overlooked on the left of this aerial shot by Lake Mézan at 8,776 ft (2,675 m) of altitude and, just above it, by Lake Petit Laus at 9,202 ft (2,805 m) above sea level.
