A seaside resort nestled in a dry valleuse
0
0
The small seaside town of Saint-Valery-en-Caux is nestled in a dry valleuse, a dip dug by erosion between two cliffs 2 million years ago. In the city center, a small fishing port separates two pebble and sandy beaches at low tide. On the way to the lighthouse, the Maison Henri IV displays the wealth of a 16th-century shipowner. Entirely made of carved wood, it is listed as a Historical Monument.
