A schist cirque facing the sea

Located in the locality of Pierrefeu-du-Var in the direction of Cuers, the Château La Tour de l'Évêque wine-growing estate extends over 220 acres (89 ha). The vines mostly planted about twenty years ago coexist with a plot of Syrah grape variety twice as old produced for the Château's Noir & Or cuvée. The vines of the estate grow in a remarkable schist cirque facing the sea and surrounded by the hills of the Maures Massif. There, the grape varieties of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, and Cabernet-Sauvignon for the red and rosé wines and Rolle, Sémillon, and Ugni Blanc for the white ones benefit from 3,000 hours of sunshine every year.
