A river suitable for swimming

The Gorges du Tarn are a haven for many animal and plant species but also visitors and inhabitants of the region. Between private lands, inaccessible areas, and hidden paths, the meanders of the river shelter intimate and privileged swimming spots. Among them are Castelbouc beach, located 10 minutes from the medieval village of Sainte-Enimie; the waterfall and the old bridge of Saint-Chély-du-Tarn; or the beach of Roc Blanc, slightly hidden towards the village of Rozier. The Tarn is a river perfectly suited for swimming in these areas with turquoise water, wild trout, and pebbles polished by the water.
