The Rouet windsurf spot on the Plage de la Palme is located in an area well winded by the Tramontane or north wind. It allows the practice of slalom and freestyle, especially by offshore wind. The sea is shallow over more than 65.62 ft (20 m) in the area. Near this spot, the Salin de La Palme can be visited through a trackless train or horse-drawn carriages. The surroundings allow the discovery of eight wine cellars via guided tours and of the monuments of the village of La Palme.
