Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is a history-rich place with a privileged viewpoint. Located just a 30-minute drive away from the city of Cahors, it is reached by following a winding road between the Lot river and the cliffs. The village is made up of 12th to 16th-century houses and is home to 13 historical monuments. Its contemporary art trail also showcases Saint-Cirq-Lapopie as a haven for artists since the late 19th century.
