A remote mountain cirque
0
0
Hidden between its neighbors Troumouse and Gavarnie, the Cirque d'Estaubé is the wildest and most remote mountain amphitheater in the area. This mountain cirque is only accessible on foot after a hike of about three and a half hours from the Gloriettes dam crossed en route to Troumouse. This open door to Spain is also one of the starting points for the ascent of Mont-Perdu. The Cirque d'Estaubé is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
