A regional flagship with an international range

Flax culture is a regional tradition in the Norman countryside and along the coast. Considered Normandy's green gold, the plant has numerous properties. Its seeds are rich in omega-3 and allow the cooking of sought-after cakes, among other things. The region accounts for 50% of the world's flax production, and the Terre de Lin cooperative, established in Saint-Pierre-le-Viger in the Seine-Maritime department, gathers 600 members responsible for 15% of international premium quality fibers.
