The lighthouse of Cap Bénat, also known as the Cap Blanc lighthouse, consists of a 50 feet (15.5 m) high cylindrical white masonry turret adjoining a one-story building and surrounded by a guardrail. Its 7.2 ft (2.20 m) diameter BBT type red lantern was restored in 1994. It is fitted with a 1,000-watt halogen lamp that emits, every five seconds, a red light visible 21 M (38 km) away.
